With an output of 33 watts per channel this is very powerful
amplifier with the capability to drive most speakers from 86db
sensitivity onwards.Two ElectroHarmonix EL 34 and driven by
ECC 82,it has ECC 81 at the input stage.
Valve technology has made a big comeback  and is an important aspect  of
high end audio.Many of the old tube manufacturers have reopened to meet
the new supply demands.So now its a combination of the  old valve state
technology and modern day power electronic components like toroidal
transformers ,capacitors and resistors.
